Turning and lathe work

Heading up our family of machines is the Leadwell T7a cnc lathe. with its 12 station tool post, 3500 rpm spindle with 65mm capacity and Fanuc control its capable of most capacity lathe work from 10 off to 1000 off.

Our Harrison Alpha 330 lathe is one of the best of it type with its high quality bed and headstock it can work to tight tolerances on most materials you can throw at it. The base machine allows it to be used as a manual lathe for the small batch and one off prototypes. With the use of its world renowned Fanuc control it can be programmed to allow its machining ability to cross over to a cnc machine with taper, radius and threading facility it will allow just about any form to be obtained.

Running alongside the Alpha is a dedicated CAD/CAM  system designed purely for the machine. This allows any number of complex forms and designs to be replicated to a cnc level. The machine capacity is 330mm over the bed and a max diameter of 200mm over the saddle to a max length of 1000mm to centres.

All this allows for a machines that can go from a prototype level to small batch work with ease. Please don't hesitate to contact us with your requirements so we can help out or advise.
